Meet Our Authors:
A little bit about our published members, and where you can find out more.
The Mid-Michigan Chapter of Romance Writers of America is pleased to count over two dozen published authors--our webmaster has lost count--and one cover artist among our membership! Among them, they've sold enough books to stock a small library, mostly category and historical romances, but also mysteries, young adult books, short stories, articles, and screen plays. We have broken them out into three pages. You can look for a particular favorite, or browse through page by page! (Several of our authors have multiple pen names, so we've listed them alphabetically under their actual identities.)
KATHARINE ASHE: With the publication of her debut novel in 2010, Katharine Ashe earned a spot among the American Library Association's "New Stars of Historical Romance." In 2011 she won the coveted Reviewers' Choice Award for CAPTURED BY A ROGUE LORD, and Amazon named HOW TO BE A PROPER LADY one of the 10 Best Romances of 2012. Katharine writes Regency-era historical romances full of adventure and rich sensuality. Reviewers call her writing "radiant", "lyrical" and "sensationally intelligent", and praise her "lushly intense" and "thrilling" love stories.
Katharine adored her years with the Mid-Michigan Romance Writers and was terribly sad to leave them when she moved south! But she still keeps up with her friends up north. She now lives in North Carolina with her beloved husband, son, dog, and a garden she likes to call romantic rather than unkempt. A professor of European history, she has also made her home in California, Italy, and France. She loves to hear from readers. Please visit her at www.KatharineAshe.com where you can find links to chat with her on email, Facebook, twitter and Pinterest, as well as all the latest news about her books.
TEREASA BELLEW, writing as TERESA BLUE, grew up in a town so small it didn't even have a stoplight. Before air conditioning was commonplace and neighbors filled front porches hoping to catch a breeze. Life seemed to crawl.
She discovered that reading could take her anywhere and by the time she entered high school, had sailed the high seas with Captains and rode the English countryside with highwaymen, robbed stages- well, you get the idea, she fell head over heels in love with the romance genre.
Happily married for thirty years, Tereasa is the mother of three and grandmother of four. Her favorite day of the week is Monday, when the kids, and now grandkids, return home for a Mom cooked meal. And for a few hours the house is filled again with cartoons and chaos.
